Donelle Prado is one of the most sought-after comedians based in Denver, CO and can be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Works and Denver Improv where she’s opened for Sebastian Maniscalco, Tony Rock, Paul Mooney, Felipe Esparza, and Bruce Bruce, among others. She was featured on the “Hot Tamales Live” comedy DVD with Eva Longoria available nationwide. She was featured on the nationally syndicated television network “SiTV” where she appeared on “Inside Joke” and “Latino Laugh Festival: The Show”. She was also a finalist on Nick-at-Nite’s 2007 “Funniest Mom in America”. Donelle is also cast regularly by Murder Mystery USA for Murder Mystery dinner shows across the state and is scheduled to tour this fall nationally with “Crazy Woke Asians”, a comedy troupe dedicated to bringing awareness to social justice issues through humor.
Nationally, Donelle has appeared regularly in New Mexico and San Antonio Texas as well as many of Hollywood’s top comedy clubs including The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Improv, The Ice House, and including performances with top comedians including George Lopez, Dane Cook, Pablo Francisco, and Carlos Mencia. Her act has been described as original, smart, twisted, and always very funny.
In addition to stand-up, she is also highly sought after as a Corporate and College Entertainer, having performed shows for Coca-Cola, The US Postal Service, Latin American Law Enforcement Association, City and County of Denver, CRESA Partners, Estylo Magazine, St. Mary’s Academy, and the Colorado School of Mines. Donelle enjoys giving back to the community by performing for underserved populations including the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and the Colorado Women’s Correctional Facility.
